The second season (2022-23) final of any gender pennants in the Leeuwin League Saturday competition was played in Margaret River. In Division 1 (4 rinks) Margaret River played Augusta and in Division 2 (2 rinks) Margaret River Gold played Margaret River Green. Due to illness and injury, Margaret River’s Division 1 team faced the final one skipper and two other players down.  For a first for the League, three females were selected as skippers, Lyn Colmer who had player third all season was selected to skip in Division 1 with Laura Jelliman and Pat Sutton selected as skips in Division 2, replacing the skips from that division who had been promoted to Division 1.  All three ladies won their rinks with Margaret River winning Division 1 and Margaret River Green Division 2.
